Ronald L. Hall is a recipient of Seattle's Artists Trust 2013 Fellowship award. He has received numerous critical reviews of his work over the years since his gallery debut in Seattle back in 2003. It is important that the viewer try to look beneath the surface of his paintings and consider the importance of what it is that he is trying to express.

Baselitz makes baseless claims!
I don't know whether to be angry or sad about this recent article of the German painter George Baselitz making claims that women painters, for the most part aren't capable of being as good as male painters! George Baselitz has been one of my favorite painters for many years, I've studied his work through books and have even been to Germany to see his work in museums, so for me this truly is shocking and disappointing! Hopefully woman who are artists of all kinds will not and cannot get disappointed by these kinds of publicly idiotic statements by such artists! If he feels this way about female painters, I'd be afraid to know what he thinks about black painters!
