Ronald L. Hall is a recipient of Seattle's Artists Trust 2013 Fellowship award. He has received numerous critical reviews of his work over the years since his gallery debut in Seattle back in 2003. It is important that the viewer try to look beneath the surface of his paintings and consider the importance of what it is that he is trying to express.

Portrait of Frederick Douglass
Started a new series of portraits for my upcoming show in January. They'll be a little different than what I've done in the past, I'm having a lot of fun with them so far. This is one of a young Frederick Douglass, it's still a work in progress!
